Process Vessel / Kettle Disinfection
Catalyx has developed a housing with UV lamp and reflector shield to mount over a ready-made siteglass for disinfection of liquids processed or stored in vessels.
The siteglass is made of either 1/4” or 5/8” UV-transmissive quartz plate and stainless steel frame. A “Hot” mirror quartz plate option reduces heat transfer via IR wavelengths to the product.
The reflector shield has a dichroic coating and cooling fins to keep heat away from the vessel contents.
